Social activist and Congress leader of Una Kushal Singh Renny passed away

UNA(HP): Kushal Singh Renny(54), a social activist and Vice President of District Congress Committee(DCC) Una has died of cardiac arrest on April 2. His sudden demise has sent shock waves in the area and among his friends and admirers.

Kushal Singh Renny, born in Nangal Township(Punjab) was son of an upright official late Malook Singh who retired from BBMB. Renny had his educati0on in Nangal and served as vice president of DCC Ropar before migrating to Himachal Pradesh.

Renny was on his work site in Gagret when he complained of breathing problem. He was taken to a local hospital by his son where he was given medicine and he get back to normal breathing. However after about 15 minutes he suffered a severe heart attack and died instantly. He is survived by wife, two sons and a daughter.

Renny was close associate of Rana K.P.Singh Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Rana K.P.Singh today visited the home of Renny and expressed his deep condolences to the family.

Satinder Bains Editor, a long time friend of Kushal Singh Renny also visited the bereaved family to pay condolence. He prayed for peace to the departed soul and courage to the family and friends to bear the shock.

One of his sons, Thakur Prabhjot Singh was selected in a leading Indian Airlines as pilot and he received the call two hours after death of his father. Prabhjot said that he owe his success to his father who supprted his dream of becoming a pilot.
