Haryana speaker administers oath to newsly elected Jind MLA

CHANDIGARH: Speaker, Haryana Vidhan Sabha, Kanwar Pal administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly elected MLA of Jind Assembly Constituency, Dr. Krishna Midha, here today.

Interacting with the mediapersons after the swearing-in ceremony, the Speaker said that now the number of BJP MLAs in the Vidhan Sabha has increased to 48. He said that as an MLA, Dr. Krishna Midha should raise the problems of the public with the government and it will provide full assistance to him.

Dr. Krishna Midha expressed his gratitude to the Speaker. He said that during the tenure of four-and-a-half years of the present State Government, there has been overall development in Jind whereas in the Congress regime, Jind remained undeveloped. He said, “I will work with complete dedication so that maximum development could be carried out in Jind”.

He said that the people of Jind are extremely happy with the development works done in Jind during the tenure of the present State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal. He said that he would make concerted efforts to get more and more development done in Jind.

Others present on the occasion included Urban Local Bodies Minister, Kavita Jain, MLAs namely,  Gian Chand Gupta,  Bakhshish Singh Virk and Ghanshyam Saraf, and family members of Dr. Krishna Midha.
