Haryana enhances DA for employees, pensioners from 9 to 12 percent

CHANDIGARH:  Haryana Government has decided to enhance Dearness Allowance payable to government employees from the existing rate of 9 per cent to 12 per cent of the basic pay, with effect from January 1, 2019.

Giving this information, a spokesman of Finance Department said that the installment of Dearness Allowance payable under these orders would be paid in cash to all State government employees with salary for the month of June, 2019 to be paid in July, 2019.

He said that the payment of arrears of enhanced Dearness Allowance for the month from January, 2019 to May, 2019 would be made in the month of August, 2019.

A letter to this effect has been issued today by the Finance Department to all the Heads of Department, Commissioners of Divisions, Deputy Commissioners and Sub Divisional Officers (Civil), the Registrar General, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.

Haryana Government has also decided to revise the Dearness Relief given to the Pensioners, Family Pensioners of the state government, from 9 per cent to 12 per cent, with effect from January 1, 2019.
