CHANDIGARH: Punjab Government has appointed Yogesh Tandon Chief Engineer P & M as Director (Technical ) in Punjab State Transmission Corporation Ltd. (PSTCL).
He has been appointed for a period of two years. He has been selected by the Punjab Government out of two shortlisted officers by the selection committee which held its meeting on July 2. The post of Director generation is likely to be re-advertised.
Meanwhile, PSPCL supplied a record of 3018 lakh units on July 2 with a maximum demand of 13144 MW.State sector thermal units supplied 370 LU and private sector thermal units supplied 873 LU. Hydropower supplied in the state was 220 LU.in
Last year PSPCL supplied a maximum 2999 lakh units and the maximum demand was 13606 MW. Today all the four thermal units at Ropar and three units t Lehra Mohabatt are generating power along with private sector units. in the state sector and private sector is running.
