We tried out best to save Fatehveer, says Vijay Inder Singla

SANGRUR: Punjab Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla who supervised the rescue operation of two year old Fatehveer Singh, trapped in the borewell, has expressed solidarity with the family of victim and condolence over his death.

Singla said that they had tried hard to save Fatehveer and round the clock efforts were made to pull out the child but unfortunately they could.nt suceed. He said that people of area gave full support to district administration. He said that the incident has left a trail of sadness for ever. He assured the family of all support.

Singla was present at village Bhagwanpura when dead body of the Fatehveer was brought from PGI Chandigarh.

Fatehveer had fallen into the borewell on June 6 and his dead body was retrieved on June 11 morning after fived days. He had died four days back. The team of NDRF was trying to pull him out for the last five days.
