PATIALA: Gurpreet Singh, a US Green Card holder who came here in August last year to have surgery of his daughter, who is now undergoing treatment at Rajindra Hospital, said we should remain in high spirits instead of panicking after getting test report positive.
He said that he was undergoing treatment for kidney realted problem at Fortis Hospital, Mohali, where he was tested for COVID. After testing positive yesterday, he returned to Rajpura due to lack of space in the hospital's COVID ward and was taken by ambulance from Civil Hospital to Rajindra Hospital.
Gurpreet, 38, who was admitted to the fourth floor of the hospital, said he was given dinner with milk last night besides breakfast and lunch today. He says he has been examined three times by doctors since he arrived and has undergone X-rays and tests.
Gurpreet says that the care being provided by Rajindra Hospital is no less than any other. He says he is completely satisfied with the treatment and the food, he is getting here and is hopeful of overcoming his illness soon. According to Gurpreet, he is also sensitising his fellow patients to overcome the disease with full courage so that their morale could be maintained high.
