AMRITSAR: Taking no chance, Punjab Government leaving its rules behind, today shifted five persons related to late Padma Shri awardee and former ''Hazuri Raagi'' Nirmal Singh to private hospital Fortis. Yesterday they all were tested positive.
Yesterday, family of late Nirmal Singh had blamed the Government doctors for gross negligence that led to death of Raagi who before his death informed his son telephonically not getting proper treatment.
Today, Health department taking no chance, all the five persons i.e Raagi Nirmal Singh’s Chachi, his associate Raagi, his wife, son and grandson who were tested positive shifted to Fortis Escort hospital.
Johal said all the five patients were stable and their health was improving in Fortis hospital.
Moreover, these all COVID 19 positive persons related to Raagi Nirmal had created much hue and cry while raising the issue before media claimed that their life was no more safe in isolate ward of Guru Nanak Hospital, since they had already lost Raagi Nirmal Singh. They were claiming that GNDH has no treatment of COIVD hence they should be shifted to Fortis forthwith.
