CHANDIGARH:Decision taken after meeting with Rural Development Minister Tript Bajwa....The Rural Development and Panchayat officers and employees of eight districts today called off pen down strike. The decision regarding this was taken after meeting with the Rural Development and Panchayat Minister Mr. Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa here today.
Disclosing this official spokesperson of the Punjab Government said that misunderstandings which arose few days ago between the Deputy Commissioner Fatehgarh Sahib and Additional Deputy Commissioner Development Fatehgarh Sahib were resolved in presence of the Rural Development and Panchayat Minister. The meeting was held in very cordial atmosphere at the camp office of the minister. The Rural Development officers assured the Deputy Commissioner that they will fully support her in all government functioning and development works. The Deputy Commissioner also assured full support to the officers.
After the meeting the Rural Development and Panchayat Department Officers and employees have immediately called off the pen down strike and returned to work.
