December 06, 2019 02:32 PM

MOHALI: Mohit Tayal and Mahima Thakur, 5th semester Computer science students of CGC Landran have been accepted for Study Exchange Program at FPT University Global, Vietnam.

The students will be undergoing 3 month internship starting in January 2020 with the First Vietnamese Independent QA Firm, Lotus Quality Assurance. This is the first time ever since the inception of the college that CGC Students would be landing to Vietnam for such international exposure. It has been made possible after CGC Landran signed a Memorandum of Understanding with FPT University which covers the exchange of undergraduates and postgraduates for semester exchange, internship, research projects etc. Along with this, the MOU also enables the exchange of faculty for research, discussion and lectures by organizing conferences, seminars and workshops.

“FPT University, Vietnam already consists of around 1, 000 International Students from 20 different countries and we would be adding some more cultural diversity to the institute. We would be learning web and application development during the internship phase and I am sure that this will offer us an edge in the subsequent placement drives” said Mahima.
