CHANDIGARH: The Sports Department of Punjab has invited the objections from the ineligible players till 12th August 2019 thus completing the process of giving cash prizes to the players winning Medals during 2017-18 at the State, National and International level. Similarly, the objections from the eligible players regarding the cash prize amount have also been invited till this very date.
The list of the ineligible players stating reasons and that of the eligibile players with cash prize amount against their name has been put up on the sports department website www.pbsports.gov.in. The players can thus submit their objections to the department after going through the list.
Disclosing this here today, a spokesperson of the Sports Department said that the department had invited applications from the players winning Medals at the State, National and International level during 2017-18 session. After scrutinizing the received applications, the list of the eligible players alongwith the cash prize to be given to them has been put up on the website of the department as is the list of the ineligible players clearly stating the reasons.
Divulging further, the spokesperson said that apart from the ineligible players if even the ones found eligible have any objections with regard to the cash prize amount mentioned against their name then they too can submit their objections till August 12, 2019 in the office of the Director, Sports. No objection received after 12th August would be considered.
