CHANDIGARH: Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Rana K.P. Singh on Monday extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Prakash Purb of fourth Sikh Master, Sri Guru Ramdas ji.
The Speaker said that the life and philosophy of Sri Guru Ramdas ji would always guide the mankind to follow the path of righteousness, self-less service and compassion. The Guru Sahib laid the foundation of stone of Chak Ramdas or Ramdas pur, which is now called Amritsar- the Religious and Spiritual Centre of Sikh faith.
On the pious occasion, Rana K.P. Singh exhorted people to celebrate this auspicious day in a spirit of brotherhood and amity.
