Prashanth and Vardhan exit from Dutch Open

CHANDIGARH: Third seeded Indian pair of N Vijay Sundar Prashanth and Vishnu Vardhan made their exit from the € 46,600 Challenger Dutch Open ATP Challenger in Amersfoort (Netherlands). In the doubles semi-final, wild card Netherlands pair of Jesper De Jong and Ryan Nijboer got the better of the Indian combination in straight sets 7-6 (4), 6-4 in 83 minutes.
De Jong/Nijboer won 82 per cent points (31/38) on their first service and 82 per cent points (18/22) on their second service. The Dutch pair won one break point out of  nine. They won a total of 77 points out of 134 (57 per  cent).
On the other hand the Indian pair won  68 per cent points (26/38) on their first service and 56 per cent points (20/36) on their second service Prashant/Vardhan saved eight break points out of nine. The Indian pair won a total of 57 points out of 134 (43 per cent).
N Vijay Sundar Prashanth and Vishnu Vardhan  earned   € 930 and 29 points.
