Minister assures Unaided Colleges for the solution of genuine problems

CHANDIGARH:JAC delegation meets Higher Education Minister Tript Bajwa
A delegation of Joint Action Committee (JAC) today met Higher Education Minister, Punjab, Mr. Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa at Punjab Bhawan, Chandigarh.
Mr. Rahul Bhandari, IAS, Secretary Higher Education, Punjab, Mr.  Mohinder Pal Arora, IAS, Special Secretary, Technical Education, Punjab and Prof. B.S. Ghuman, Vice Chancellor, Punjabi University, Patiala,   Prof. Karamjeet Singh & Prof Sanjay Kaushik, University Business School, Panjab University and Prof. K.S. Kahlon, Registrar, GNDU were also present during the meeting.

Spokesman of JAC Dr. Anshu Kataria said that the delegation of JAC highlighted the problems and difficulties related with Panjab, Punjabi and Guru Nanak Dev University. Mr. Bajwa after giving patience hearing said that the department will not compromise with the quality but at the same time, whatever, genuine problems and grievances unaided Colleges have, the department would try to resolve them at the earliest.

Mr. Jagjit Singh, President, B.Ed Federation; Mr. Sukhmander Singh Chatha, President, Punjab Unaided Degree Colleges Association (PUDCA), Dr.  Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, President, Punjab Unaided Technical Institutions Association, Mr. Charanjit Singh Walia, President, Nursing Colleges Association, Mr. Rajinder Dhanoa, Polytechnic Association,   Mr. Shimanshu Gupta, ITI Association,   Mr. Nirmal Singh, ETT Federation, Dr. Anshu Kataria, President, PUCA were also present on the occasion.
