He said as the Jalianwala Bagh Massacre has completed 100 years in the month of April and Sikh Panth is going to celebrate 550th Birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji in the month of November so this is the apt time for apologizing. He also appealed SGPC to ban Harsimrat and Majithia from participating in religious ceremonies till the time they apologize at Sri Akal Takht Sahib for the misdoings of their grandfather.

In a press statement issued from Chandigarh, Randhawa said that the historical facts makes it clear that Sundar Singh Majithia was directly involved in both of the incidents happened and he choose to be sided with Britishers against the Indian revolutionaries. He said, in the massacre of Jalianwala Bagh hundreds of people were brutally killed and more than 1200 were injured when a troupe led by General Dyre opened fire on the peaceful gathering at Jalianwala Bagh in Amritsar. The ArchBishop Canterbury, who holds the highest position in the Church of England, Reverend Justin Willy in his statement has said that it was deeply humiliating and a feeling of profound shame for him to visit her horrific massacre site where hundreds of innocent people were killed. “I am also ashamed and sorry for the impact of crime committed, I am a religious leader and not a politician so as a religious leader I mourn the tragedy we see here." he said in his statement.

Randhawa said that according to historian V.N. Dutta, Sundar Singh Majithia was a staunch supporter of Britishers in india and was always oppose to every form of revolutionary activities. Due to his support, the Britishers granted him title of 'Sir Sarddar Bahadur', pension and a jageer in Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh.

He said in 1920 Sunder Singh Majithia got 'To be companion of the said most eminent order' for helping Dyer in Jalianwala Bagh massacre. Similarly in the Nankana Sahib massacre C.M King, the then commissioner of Lahore division, J.W. Bowery S.P, Mahant Devi Dasa, Basant Dass, Sundar Singh Majithia and others were responsible for Nankana Sahib Massacre.

According to the Babbar Akalis, Sunder Singh Majithia along with British officers had a hand in crushing the Nankana Sahib massacre. In March 1937, the Akalis condemned Sundar Singh Majithia and his party as a traitor and the enemy of the Panth. Randhawa said that it is astonishing to see that traitors are now leading the Akali Dal.

Randhawa demanded that Majithia and Harsimrat must apologize from the Sikh Panth just as Simranjeet Singh Maan had apologized for the actions of his grandfather Aroor Singh.
