KMV Organizes an Educational Trip to National Agri-Food

JALANDHAR: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Ranked No.1 College  in India by India Today Ranking's Department of Biotechnology organized a visit to Nobel Prize Museum Exhibition at National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute, Mohali. More than 40 students along with two faculty members were part of this visit.

The visit to this museum exhibition made students enthusiastic about science thus, highlighting the contribution of Nobel Laureates in making the world a better place. This museum exhibition showcased discoveries and achievements that have saved lives, fed humanity, connected people and have protected the planet. Students also came to know about the work of different Nobel Laureates including Nelson Mandela, Francis Crick, Rabindranath Tagore, Marie Sklodowska Curie, Bob Dylan, Albert Einstein, Peter Higgs, Toni Morrison and Malala Yousafzai. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that such visits are must for students as these trips enrich learning experiences and they also leave a lasting impression on the minds of the students. She further maintained that educational trips give chance to the students to build closer bond with their classmates and to experience new environments.

She lauded the efforts of the department of Biotechnology for organizing this educational trip. It is important to mention that KMV from time to time keep organizing such educational trips for the students for their overall personality development.
