KPMG offers a package of Rs 4.99 lakhs per annum

CHANDIGARH: One of the Big Four Accounting Companies of the world, KPMG offered package of Rs 4.99 lakhs per annum along with medical benefits to five students of University Institute of Legal Studies(UILS), Panjab University Chandigarh as a part of its Annual Placement Drive Negotium 2019 which was organized by the Career Development Cell, UILS. Out of 17 students shortlisted, 5 were offered the job namely namely Anupriya, Dhriti, Divya Thakur, Simran Syal and Tarun Inder Kaur.

It is a glorious moment for the department as KPMG has been coming to the campus for three consecutive years now. The Managing Partner, of KPMG Mr Atul Gandhi interacted with the students who were shortlisted on the basis of their CVs. The opening speech was an enlightening and invigorating one where he explained the outreach and work of the company. The Manager, Ms Saudamini Shrotiya highlighted the nuanced legal work undertaken by the company out of which Fraud and Forensic Analysis was the most important and gave an overview of the multifarious nature of dealings with the other companies.

The HR Ms. Samta Jain gave the aspirants an insight into the corporate work and multi cultural atmosphere of the company, nature of work, the transformative nature of life at KPMG and what qualities does the company look for in the candidates during the recruitment process. The company highlighted the remarkable progress of the students who were recruited from UILS last year.
