Keep These 4 Documents Ready for IBPS PO Online Application

The IBPS PO 2019 Notification was released on 2nd August 2019. The Application form is available online from 7th August 2019. Make sure you have these documents ready before you start the registration process.


Applicant's Photograph 

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection requires a clear, visible, and latest photograph of all candidates applying for the exam. IBPS has set the following specifications for the Photograph

  •  The photo should be passport-sized. 
  •  The image size of the photograph should be from 20kb to 50kb. 
  •  Make sure the photograph is in jpeg format only.  


Scanned Copy of Signature 

You are required to upload the scanned copy of your signature while filling the IBPS PO Application Form. Follow these specifications for the scanned signature in order to avoid rejection

  • The image size of the scanned copy should be between 10kb to 20kb. 
  • The Scanned copy should be in jpeg format only.
  • Preferred dimension for signature is 140 x 60 pixels 
  • Make sure to Sign on a white paper with a black ink pen. 

5.Signature should be uploaded in Black Ink Only, although signature with blue ink is common for most exams but IBPS specifically requires the signed copy to be in Black ink. 

 

Thumb Impression 

IBPS mandates uploading the scanned copy of your thumb impression on the IBPS PO Application Form. You can upload the scanned copy with the following specifications

  • You need to scan your Left thumb impression.
  • The thumb impression should be clear & not be smudged.
  • Make sure to upload only a jpeg file format.
  • File size should be between 20 kb to 50 kb. 


Caste Certificate 

Candidates who belong to reserved categories will need to upload a scanned cast certificate provided by the government of India. 

  • Age Limit to apply for the IBPS PO Exam is from 20 years to 30 years. Candidates belonging to reserved category are eligible for Age Relaxation. 
  • The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection holds a certain number of vacancies for the reserved category. IBPS PO Recruitment 2019 has reserved 2305 vacancies for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD candidates.

The last date to apply online for the IBPS PO exam is 28th August 2019. It is important to fill the form with extreme care to avoid Form Rejection.

  • Once, the application fee is paid, no changes/edits can be made in the IBPS PO Online Form. 
  • Make sure you fill all the details as per your documents.
  • Be careful with spelling errors. Take your time with the form but write all the details correctly.

  • Contact IBPS on their Helpline Numbers – 1800-222-366 & 1800-103-4566.
  • IBPS Helpline numbers are operational from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm all week except for Saturdays.
  • The helpline numbers will not be functional on any National holidays.
  • You can also go to the official website i.e. www.ibps.in & click on “Candidate Grievance and Redressal Mechanism”. Write whatever query you are facing & the Support desk will reach out to you with a solution.
