Parliamentary Elections 2019: 188 Nominations filed on the last day

CHANDIGARH: On the last day of nominations 188 candidates had filed their nomination papers in the State. So far 385 has been filed their nomination papers in six days. The CEO Dr. S. Karuna Raju stated that the scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on April 30, 2019 i.e. Tuesday.

Dr. Raju said that on last day of nomination 15 candidates has filed their nomination for the Parliamentary Constituency (PC)-01 Gurdaspur, Similarly 21 candidates for Parliamentary Constituency (PC)-02 Amritsar while for Parliamentary Constituency (PC)-03 Khadoor Sahib 11 filed their nominations. 7 candidates filed their nominations for PC 04-Jalandhar (SC)

He further said that for Parliamentary Constituency (PC)-05 Hoshiarpur (SC) 5 candidates. 20 candidates for Parliamentary Constituency (PC)-06 Anandpur Sahib, 10 candidates for Parliamentary Constituency (PC)-07 Ludhiana, for Parliamentary Constituency (PC)-08 Fatehgarh Sahib 17 cabdudates, for PC 09-Faridkot (SC) 15 candidates, for Parliamentary Constituency (PC)-10 Ferozepur 18 candidates filed their nomination papers.

"21 candidates for PC 11- Bathinda, 14 candidates for Parliamentary Constituency (PC)-12 Sangrur, 14 candidates for PC 13- Patiala filed their nomination papers", he added.
