AMRITSAR: The colorful presentations marked the prize distributions at Sri Guru Teg Bahadur College for Women (SGTBCW) as the students performed dances, songs and theater, exhibiting their talent amidst great zest and elation. The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by chief guest Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina who were earlier welcomed by Principal Nanak Singh on the campus.
In his presidential address Chhina congratulated SGTBCW for emerging as a leading educational institution and was mesmerized to witness performances of the students which took the campus by storm. He said the achievers are the motivating factor for the other students as role models. He said it is a competitive world and only the best survive.
Principal Nanak Singh read the college progress report and said the students who have achieved prizes in the spots and academics needed to be encouraged and thus the program was organized.
