KMV Student top in International Olympiad

JALANDHAR: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya conducted 4th International Olympiad. The Olympiad was conducted by the Department of Student Welfare with the aim of ”Making leaders of tomorrow better human beings today”. This was an online exam to assess the level of knowledge about humanity, morality, and ethical values of students.

Under this Olympiad, multiple choice questions were attempted by students so as to introspect one’s own level of morality. This Olympiad was conducted by Satyug Darshan Trust and Awake Humanity Club.

The certificate of Appreciation has been awarded to Kanya Maha Vidyalaya for the successful participation. Navpreet Kaur B.Com 5th sem has been declared topper and has been awarded a certificate of merit and medal of appreciation for her excellent performance. Tanisha Chojar from the same stream has also been felicitated for her performance.

Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the students and averred that KMV strives for the holistic development of our wards and aims to make students appreciate the essential complementarity between ‘values’ and ‘success’ to ensure sustained happiness and prosperity, which are the core aspirations of all human beings.

She further averred that to further enhance moral values in the students, KMV has taken the initiative of introducing Moral education programme, which will be compulsory for the students of sem II and they will be given grades for their performance. This innovative endeavour of KMV has been introduced after attaining the Autonomous Status.
