Faculty devp programme at Rayat Bahra ends

MOHALI: The Rayat Bahra University organized a two-day faculty development programme on pedagogical skills for faculty members which concluded today. The main objective of the programme was to make the faculty members aware of the benefits of self development and pro activeness.

Pedagogy, taken as an academic discipline, is the study of how knowledge and skills are exchanged in an educational context, and it considers the interactions that take place during learning. The workshop included inbound fun filled activities to make this workshop engaging for the participants.

Dilbagh Singh, Director of the Brainpower Services Pvt. Ltd, along with two facilitators conducted the workshop. A corporate trainer, Dilbagh Singh is also a counselor and motivational speaker. The workshop helped the participants add something new and productive to their proactive skills.

Dr Ajay Goyal, Dean of the University School of Engineering and Technology, and Dr Daljit Singh, Vice- Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University, underlined the importance of hard work to achieve success.

Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chairman of the Rayat Bahra Group and Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University, emphasizing the importance of motivational lectures. He said that the university organizes such workshops at regular intervals to enhance the skills of the faculty members.
