Phillaur police arrested two foreign national drug peddlers

PHILLAUR: The Phillaur Police have arrested two foreign nationals Drugs Peddlers women identified as Golden(26) resident of Winfrida Tanzania and Maria Salum(28) resident of Sumbawanga in Tanzania presently residing in Dwarka Colony New Delhi and recovered 200 Gms of heroin from their possession here today.

Inspector General of the Police Naunihal Singh and SSP(Rural) Navjot Singh Mahal said that both accused were nabbed  near a check point  of Satluj River Bridge high tech naka by the cops when both accused were coming on foot on the bridge from Ludhiana side. Both arrested accused have confessed that they brought the drugs from Delhi on cheaper rates and selling in various parts of Punjab. A case under NDPS act has been
registered in Phillaur Police Station.
