CBI registers case of murder of UP IAS officer Anurag Tiwari

NEW DELHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case relating to alleged murder of Sh. Anurag Tiwari, an IAS officer of 2007 batch on the request of Uttar Pradesh Government & further notification from Government of India.

This was stated by RK.Gaur Spokespesron of the CBI today.He said CBI sleuths took up the investigation of the FIR No. 411, earlier registered on 22.05.2017 Under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Police Station Hazratganj, District Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) against unknown persons on the complaint of his elder brother.

Gaur Said Late Anurag Tiwari was an IAS officer of 2007 batch from Karnataka cadre. His dead body was found in Lucknow in the morning on May17,2017.

A team of CBI has reached Lucknow for further investigation.
