Ram Prakash wins HDFC Bank Open Chess

CHANDIGARH: Ram Prakash of Indian Railways emerged champions with seven points in the HDFC Bank Open Chess Championship 2019, which concluded today at Trellis Garden, Mohali. In the last round Ram Prakash outplayed Ramandeep Singh Gill to win the title. The second position was bagged by Vikas Sharma of Punjab on 6.5 points, who drew his last round game with Anmol Bhagat also on 6.5 points, who got the third position.

Mr. Vivek Doda Cluster Head HDFC Bank  gave away trophies and prizes to the winners of the various categories. Mr. Ashok K Sikka, Managing Director, Trellis Garden was the guest of honour.
