Historic Light and Sound Show on Guru Nanak leaves audience mesmerised in Sultanpur Lodhi

CHANDIGARH: Sea of devotees thronged to watch the historic Light and Sound Show— showcasing the life and philosophy of the First Sikh Guru Nanak Dev Ji in at the holy city of Sultanpur Lodhi on Tuesday. The Light and Sound Show was organised as a part of ongoing celebrations to commemorate the 550th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Prominent among Member Parliament (MP) Jasbir Singh Dimpa also bathed in Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji's divine glow and spiritual splendour. MP Dimpa said that these spectacular shows organised by the Punjab Government will help to spread the message of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji among the young generation.

The audience were disseminated with the message of strengthening the ethos of communal harmony, peace, brotherhood, compassion and humanity as preached by Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The mesmerised audience bathed in Guru Sahib’s glory as the light and sound show beautifully projected his philosophy in the form of his universal message to our society. Through the show, the ethos of tolerance, peace, communal harmony, women empowerment and protection of natural resources were brought alive. Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji's efforts to promote social equality were also aptly showcased to the audience in right letter and spirit.

On the occasion, Renowned Punjabi Singer Harbhajan Mann mesmerised the audience with religious songs dedicated to the Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Meanwhile, the light and sound show will continue to enthral the audience till November 15 while Harbhajan Mann shall also be performing on Wednesday from 7 to 8 pm.
