The Elante Mall management has issued the following statement.

There was a report of an unclaimed object which could have been a bomb hoax, at our mall. All the people, including the shoppers and staff members, are absolutely safe. The entire mall management is collaborating and cooperating with the authorities to ensure complete security of the people and property. It looks like a hoax call in view of the heightened security alert across the country. The police investigation is going on and we will soon learn the complete facts. The mall operations will resume as and when the special security check is completed.

We do understand the difficulties each of our customers has faced and would appeal to the shoppers and the public, in general, to remain calm and help restore normalcy.
