CHANDIGSARH: On passing away of veteran actor-writer of Indian Cinema, Kader Khan due to his prolonged sickness on 1st January, Anumit Hira Sodhi,  member of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC), paid his tributes to him. He along with his other youth Congress office bearers gathered to pay homage to the late legendary actor Kader Khan, by observing a two-minute silence for late actor's soul to rest in peace in his heavenly abode.

Expressing his sorrows on the demise of deceased actor, Anumit Hira Sodhi said, "He is amongst the biggest contributors of the Indian entertainment industry. It has always been a pleasure watching him on screen. He was a man with distinctive traits who defined a generation and ruled Indian cinema with his eccentric dialogues and comedy. It saddens our heart to know that the prominent actor who has been entertaining us all for years is no more".

He was such a versatile actor who performed a variety of roles in all different genres and justified them all. I can't thank him enough for the smiles he has put on our face with his astounding acting, for the hours of laughter with his comedy and for his powerful dialogues which give us all goosebumps even today. Though he is not alive today, he will remain alive forever in our hearts. He will be missed a lot and will always be remembered by us.

We have lost a gem which no one can replace. My deepest condolences to his family and admirers. I pray to God for his mighty soul to rest in peace and to give strength to his family and lovers to bear such an enduring loss.
