MOHALI: Renowned Engineering expert Prof. Dr. J.K Saini has recently joined as Director at Aryans College of Engineering, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh.
Saini has earned name & fame not only in the Indian Navy as Lieutenant commander but was also popular in Industries & academia of North India. He has a total experience of around 14 years in the Indian Navy, 12 years in Research & Industries and around 22 years in Teaching.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while welcoming him said that Indian Engineering Education represents one of the largest educational systems in the world. The challenges posed by this field are growing rapidly due to the lack of interest of the students in engineering courses.
Kataria added that a qualified, skilled and experienced faculty would help in generating interest in the students in classrooms emphasizing them to perform in a more industry-oriented curriculum.
Saini while showing ecstasy over the joining said that I am happy and excited to work in the Engineering college of Aryans wherein, the students possess an innovative approach and need polishing their skills to emerge as better engineers.
It is to be mentioned that Saini has done M.Tech, MBA, LL.B. and Doctorate in mechanical engineering from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra in the year 2000. Dr. Saini has been trained in U.K and Russia for Operations Research and Research & Development at HAL Bangalore in marine, mechanical, aeronautical Engg. He has served as a Principal at Bharat Institute, Kurukshetra; as a Dean Academics & Administration at Instt of Mgmt & Tech at Meerut & Ghaziabad; as a Director at Guru Kashi University, Bathinda.
He has also been awarded National Education Award from AICTE & PTU, Jalandhar and from Mahindra and Mahindra for the research program carried out by Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC)/NASA/ Antarctica expedition on the South Pole.
