MOHALI: Rayat Bahra International School (RBIS) celebrated Navratras and Dussehra in the school premises where various cultural programmes were held. The students of pre primary wing showcased various forms of Durga. The little ones were dressed up in their best, like Rama, Lakshmana, Sita, and Ravana. Poetic Ramayana was presented by the students in a graceful manner, colourful attire worn by all and colourful sticks carried by them were eye-catching.

Manjeet Kaur Bahra graced the occasion and blessed the participants and students inspiring them to follow the path of truth. Principal Abhilasha Singh appreciated everyone for presenting a wonderful programme.

To mark Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana and to reinforce the message that truth prevails over evil, the effigy of Ravana was burnt. Each student had scribbled one bad habit and they burnt this slip with the effigy of Ravana promising to shun the evil habit.
