Legal expert addresses students at Rayat Bahra Varsity

MOHALI: Harry Mann, Barrister and Solicitor, Ontario, Canada, while addressing the young budding aspirants of legal profession at the Rayat Bahra University said that hard work, sincerity and intelligence were the key to success at international level as a lawyer and academician.

He was delivering a special interactive lecture at University Institute of Legal Studies and Department of Laws, University School of Law at Rayat Bahra University.

Harry Mann highlighted the comparative aspects of Canadian and Indian law. He also acquainted the students with the requalification process for practicing as a Solicitor and Barrister in Canada.

Dr Daljit Singh, Vice-Chancellor, Rayat Bahra University, while addressing the young legal aspirants of University School of Law in the jam-packed Moot Court Hall, highlighted the importance of organizing such special lectures by distinguished legal luminaries and experienced academicians to the students of University School of Law. He said such endeavours are steps in the direction of realization of his vision of transforming University School of Law into a ‘Centre of Academic Excellence.’

The academic activity took place under the supervision of Heads of the Department, University Institute of Legal Studies and Department of Laws, University School of Law, Rayat Bahra University.

Dr Sonia Grewal Mahal, Head of the department, University Institute of Legal Studies, University School of Law, proposed a vote of thanks.
