JALANDHAR: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Jalandhar under the aegis of Women Studies Centre conducted a three day workshop in Self Defense Techniques with an aim to build confidence among the students and to also make them capable to fight back and defend themselves during adverse circumstances Ms Rama Sharma, Director, Sanjay Karate School, a well known professional in self defense and martial art techniques with over 20 years experience imparted training in self defense techniques to the students.
More than 60 students completed this workshop with great zeal and enthusiasm. Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Director Women Studies Centre motivated the students to actively participate in all such events which not only educate them but also empowers them. She averred that this workshop is a regular feature in KMV. She also congratulated Mrs Amarpreet, Coordinator, Women Studies Centre for the successful completion of two batches of short term course in self defence techniques.
