DPR, PU Renuka Salwan gets Chanakya Award

CHANDIGARH: Renuka B. Salwan, Director, Public Relations, Panjab University Chandigarh has been conferred with the prestigious ‘Chanakya Award’ for Corporate Reputation    at the 13th Global Communication Conclave 2019 organised by Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) at Jaipur, concluded today.

The award was presented by The Chief Election Commissioner of India Sunil Arora in the presence of Chancellor of Manipal University,
Jaipur, Dr K Ramnarayan, Vice Chancellor of Bangalore University, Dr K R. Venugopal and Sh S Narendra, former Principal Information Officer
to Prime Minister of India.

Salwan has more three decades of professional experience in PR and Communication having worked in Semiconductor Complex Ltd and Bureau of
Indian Standards (BIS) before joining Panjab University, Chandigarh.

This is a signature award presented by PRCI to outstanding individuals in recognition to their contribution in the field of PR and Communication.

The PRCI Annual Corporate Collateral Awards is among the most esteemed event in the arena of corporate communications, and is conducted to
recognise and applaud excellence in talent and professional standards.

PRCI is a body of professionals including public relations, corporate communications, advertising, and academicians. Established to raise
the standards of PR practice through better professional development and networking opportunities, the PRCI has its national headquarters
in Bangalore and 30 chapters spread across India with over 3000 members.
