MOHALI: As a part of the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ an awareness rally was taken out by the GNM and ANM students of Aryans Institute of Nursing, Rajpura Near Chandigarh in the Jansua Village.
Students and staff members participated in the march to create awareness cleanliness among local people and to imbibe them in our day to day life. The mission includes clean College campus, clean surroundings and play area, pure drinking water facilities, safe and clean food and personal hygiene.
The students led by the teachers carried placards displaying messages to sensitize people about cleanliness. Volunteers were heard shouting slogans to address the rural people on general issues.
Faculty members stressed that there is need to aware the children about maintaining proper sanitation and hygiene as they are future of the nation. They added that such kind activities shall be organized so that more and more people can be aware about the importance of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
