RBU students get top campus placements

 MOHALI: Students of the Rayat Bahra University Polytechnic college  have set a new benchmark by bagging lucrative job offers from top industries.
Elaborating the unique distinction, Dr Maninder Singh, Principal of the RBU Polytechnic, said that it was a record in itself that every single student of Mechanical Engineering and Automobile Engineering, May 2019 pass out batch, has at least one job offer from top industry in mid-January 2019 itself.

He said that most of our students were already placed and in recent round of placements held on January 11, leading manufacturing company of Ludhiana, TechAuto Industries selected the remaining 11 students to work in the manufacturing and quality control departments of the company. They have all been offered an annual package of Rs 2.5 lakh.

The students who have got placements include Pankaj Kumar,   Hemant Kapoor, Tushar Sood,   Vishavjeet Singh, Sahil,    Chirag Nar,   Jatin Passi,   Jaspreet Singh, Shubham Rajput, Sanjeev Kumar, and  Darpan Nar.

Speaking on occasion Dr Daljit Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the RBU, said, “It is a matter of pride for the Rayat Bahra University that our students are getting selected in core manufacturing companies of such a good repute. Cent per cent placements have proved that the technical knowledge imparted by the faculty was yielding fruitful results.” He lauded the role of automotive cluster situated in Rayat Bahra University where the leading companies like Eicher India Pvt Ltd., Royal Enfield, Volkswagen and Bosch had set up their own training workshop to compliment RBU efforts in training students right from the first year onwards.

Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University, felicitated the students for their achievement. Congratulating the students, he expressed hope that they will continue this tradition in future and become role models for other students.
