Punjab BJP chief welcomes center's decision to simplify GST system

PHAGWARA: While welcoming the decision of the Union Government to reduce the slab of the GST Punjab BJP President Shawait Malik has said that the BJP government at the center simplified the tax system to make the country financial power and started the goods and services tax (GST) system, which benefited the industry with great benefits. is. Talking to selective journalists here on Sunday Malik said that Prime Minister  Narendra Modi will address the joint rally of Akali Dal and BJP in Gurdaspur on January 3. He said that while fulfilling the demand of the Sikh community for 70 years, the approval for the construction of a corridor for Gurudwara Kartarpurar Sahib in Pakistan has been approved.

 Malik said that the industrialists are being given a loan of up to Rs one crore in one hour and tax relief of two percent is being given on interest. Under the startup plan, a loan of up to Rs. 10 lakhs is being given for setting up new industries.

Responding to the sentencing of Sajjan Kumar  in the 1984 Sikh Genocide case, BJP President  said that the decision of the court has exposed the anti-Sikh face of the Congress. He said that Congress President  Rahul Gandhi has always said that there was no leniency of the Congress in the slaughtering. He said that the matter had been hanging for 34 years . He said that all the culprits of  Anti Sih riots of 1984 should be given strict adverse punishment.

Replying a question about the performance of the state government, BJP President Shawait Malik described the congress government as total failure. He said that the law and order in the state has been completely collapsed. Commenting upon Panchayat Elections BJP President alleged that Government Machinary is being openly misused. Union Minister of State Vijay Sampla, Phagwara MLA Som Prakash, Mayor Arun Khosla, Rakesh Rathore were among those senior BJP leaders who were present on the occasion.
